Manufacturing Services Built for Retail Profit
European pet bed manufacturer since 2007, based in Częstochowa, Poland. We design, cut, sew, fill, and pack every product in our own facility — the same single location where our account team and design office sit. 29 countries on our shelves. Over 4 million beds produced. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified fabrics across the full palette.
Two things we do for B2B buyers: supply ready-to-sell products under our Empets and Base brands, and manufacture private-label pet beds under your own brand.
Who This Is For
Our setup is built for established B2B operators across Europe: pet retail chains, specialised distributors, wholesalers, large e-commerce platforms, and private-label brand owners. Clients ready to place bulk orders, manage stock, and work with a manufacturer on a multi-year horizon.
We’re rarely the right partner for single-store operations, first-time importers, dropshippers, or B2C direct-to-consumer brands. If that’s your model, a different type of supplier will serve you better — we’ll tell you upfront.
Empets and Base Brand Collections
Ready-to-sell pet beds across every retail price tier. Empets is our flagship B2B catalogue — over 30 product lines spanning value, core, premium, and boutique segments, from mainstream bestsellers to trend-driven textured designs. Base (basebeds.pl) is our premium-positioned brand with clear, retail-ready design.
Both brands come with full product photography, technical specifications, and sales materials ready for e-commerce listings and in-store use. No product development cost on your side. No market-testing risk. Order, receive, sell.
Private Label Manufacturing — Three Paths
We manufacture your own-brand pet beds using one of three defined paths, depending on how custom you want to go. All three use the same production team, the same certified materials, and the same Polish facility as our own-brand products.
1. Rebranding — the fastest route to own-brand
Take any product from the Empets catalogue. Replace our branding with yours: custom hang tags, labels and care labels. Pricing follows the regular price list. Production timeline is unchanged versus a standard order.
This is the fastest way to add a private-label line to your assortment. Minimum order values follow the standard MOQ. Our designer adapts your logo and branding to our production-ready hang tag and label templates; a one-time tag design fee applies per new brand.
2. Custom Fabrics Palette — exclusive combinations on proven shapes
Catalogue bed shapes produced in fabrics outside their standard palette. You pick the bed model, you pick the fabric from our wider range, we calculate and confirm the combination. The result: exclusive configurations unavailable anywhere else on the market, built on production moulds that have already been validated.
Minimum order quantities apply for non-standard fabrics — each fabric roll yields a fixed number of pieces (typically 25–30 per product). Orders are placed in multiples of that roll yield. Exact MOQ is calculated per product and confirmed before ordering.
3. Full Custom — fully bespoke product development
New product designs developed by our in-house team from your brief, sketch, reference product, or concept. Covers new shapes, new sizes, new proprietary features, or replicated designs with modifications you require.
The process includes mould design for the new product, first prototype production, corrections, validation in production conditions, and photographic documentation for your approval. Prototype development is quoted individually before work begins. Sample costs for the new product are calculated separately.
This path is for buyers investing in genuinely exclusive, protected product lines — not quick catalogue swaps.
Bespoke Product Development
Our in-house design office, staffed by designers and production technologists, creates new pet bed designs from client briefs. Inputs we can work from: a written brief, a reference image, a sketch, a physical reference product, or a market gap description. Outputs: technical drawings, a validated prototype, photographic documentation, and a production-ready product.
Typical projects include functional changes to existing shapes (new size, new closure, repositioned zipper), entirely new shapes developed for a specific retail positioning, and adaptation of concepts from other industries into the pet category.
We do not replicate third-party brands’ proprietary designs. Full IP and confidentiality terms are covered by our standard Terms & Conditions 2026–2028.
Materials and Certifications
Our fabrics are covered by OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification — the globally recognised textile safety standard confirming fabrics have been tested for harmful substances.
Fabrics we manufacture with: upholstery-grade bouclés, chenilles, velvets, linens, corduroys, plain and patterned woven textiles, technical waterproof fabrics, and faux furs. Fillings: EU-sourced polyester fiber and high-resilience polyurethane foam, supplied by certified Polish foam manufacturers. Orthopaedic products use a dense foam insert rated for joint support on older pets, larger breeds, and animals recovering from injury.
Dedicated product lines are available in 100% recycled polyester — fabrics and zippers manufactured from post-consumer PET bottles. Recycled polyester production is associated with significantly lower CO₂ emissions, water use, and energy consumption than virgin polyester.
Supporting Services
- Fabric swatches — free of charg. Feel the materials before you commit to a full sample order.
- No-MOQ sample orders — single-piece orders at regular catalogue pricing to test product quality. Available in the reference colour marked in the catalogue. Samples are paid in full before shipment.
- Product photography — all catalogue and website images are free to use in your e-commerce listings, print catalogues, and marketing materials. Custom studio photography of your private-label products on a clean white background is available at a fixed per-photo rate.
- Hang tag and label design — our designer adapts your branding to our production-ready templates. Standard templates are free to use; custom layouts beyond the templates are quoted separately.
- Vacuum packing — available for most products at a small surcharge. Reduces shipping volume and retail storage footprint. Not all products can be vacuum packed; check with your account manager.
- Logistics coordination — Ex Works shipment from Częstochowa (Poland) is our standard. We can coordinate with established European freight partners on your behalf if you need the delivery arranged from our side.
What Makes Empets Different From Overseas Import Suppliers?
- Shorter cash cycle — typical European bulk order turns around in weeks, not months. Working capital is not frozen in shipping containers for 10–12 weeks plus port delays.
- Direct manufacturer pricing — no importer or trading company sitting between you and the factory. You talk to the people who cut and sew the beds.
- Same time zone, business-hours communication — your account manager is in Central European Time, responds in English, German, or Polish, and picks up the phone during normal working hours.
- Predictable specifications — what you ordered is what gets produced. No silent material substitutions, no container-level quality variability, no “the fabric we used this batch was slightly different” emails.
- Exclusive designs not available on generic online marketplaces — our textured and trend-driven lines are built for retail differentiation. Your customers cannot cross-check prices against or for the same product, because the same product is not there.
- Meaningfully lower carbon footprint than overseas routes. Shorter transport distances and EU-regulated production. A sustainability story you can actually stand behind with an end customer.
Production and Lead Times
- Regular bulk orders: approximately 4-6 weeks from order confirmation and advance payment.
- Sample orders: approximately 3 weeks.
- Private-label rebranding: same as regular bulk orders.

Lead times are confirmed at order level and may vary with seasonal demand. Production is in full control at a single Polish location — we don’t depend on subcontracted overseas capacity.
